The first thing we had to do was get the house packed up. Evan wanted to help.
He did a great job keeping track of the movers and followed them all over the house.
Then an 8 hour flight to DC. For once I did not complain about a red eye flight, as Dixie, Evan, and Dad slept the whole flight. The weather has cooperated, and Jody took Evan out to see the DC area. All bundled up.
It must have been once long walk, because Evan was asleep before they even hit the National Mall. It was now a running joke... Tourist attraction = nap time.
Hey look who finally woke up to see the Lincoln Memorial :)
Then a magical event... SNOW (Evan's first).
Evan enjoyed living in the hotel, the Ritz sure knows how to keep him happy. A steady supply of Cheerios and a BIG bathtub. Too bad we couldn't stay indefinitely.
