The last days of Summer

Wow, I cannot seem to figure out where the past 6 months has gone.  Evan is growing up fast before our very eyes.  August was a busy month for the family, it included a week and a half long trip out to Dallas for work.  It was Evan's second ride on an airplace, and he was excited.

We got to have a little fun in Dallas on the weekends, we went ice skating, and then drove out to Arlington to see Cowboy's stadium.  Much to Mom's dismay he spent the entire day in a "cute" Cowboy's outfit.   

On our last day there we got to spend a little time with family with Cousin Julie, Marc and their kids. Aunt Diane got a couple hugs in too.  (Picture to follow shortly)

Then it was back to work for budget season, Evan decided he wanted to help too... is drool on the computer a good excuse as to why my numbers don't tie?

And then it was into September, full of reading and playing.  Now we just can't wait for football to start!
